Ground Set Diminishing Section Steel Flagpoles

Internal halyard flagpoles are fabricated from all new seamless steel tubing.  Diminishing sections welded together, form a graceful tapered appearance.
Although sizes below are most commonly used, we can fabricate other sizes to any specifications.

Internal Halyard Features

Ball (optional) - 14 Ga. aluminum with flush seam.  Choose Gold Anodized, Clear Anodized (Silver) or painted to match shaft.

Truck - heavy-duty, internal halyard revolving-type with 26 stainless steel ball bearings.  Finished to match shaft.

Halyard - standard equipment includes one stainless steel aircraft cable complete with proper size flag arrangement, shock spring, counterweight, beaded retainer ring and flag snaps.

Winch - new, improved winch, mounted inside shaft, is operable only by a removable crank handle.  Gearless and self-locking at any point, it eliminates the need for a separate brake.  New direct-drive permits rapid raising and lowering of flag with little effort.  As stainless steel cable unwinds from winch, it passes up through the shaft, over truck sheave to the outside of the shaft where retainer sling provides a sliding anchor.  Counterweight heavily coated with neoprene, attached to retainer sling, allows halyard to be lowered for fastening or removing flag.  Then, halyard is raised completely out of reach of vandals.

Collar - ornamental base or flash collar is spun aluminum, with a diameter of at least 1" larger than foundation sleeve.

Above fittings are included as standard equipment on all of our Sectional Flagpoles with Internal Halyards.  As with all of our Flagpole lines, optional accessories are available.

Recommendation:  flagpoles above 100' exposed height should be equipped with an internal halyard system to aid in raising and lowering larger flags.
