Super Pole Specifications:
The
first and third layers consist of an electrical grade fiberglass mat used to
impart multi-directional strength (hoop strength) throughout the fiberglass
pole. The mat also serves an
additional purpose of helping to eliminate surface cracks on the outer and inner
surfaces of the tubes.
The
final layer of material is a polyester spun bound veil (Remay) used to
encapsulate the entire composite structure.
This veil also serves a dual purpose:
The first is to eliminate fiberglass splinters to anyone handling the tube.
The second purpose is to add a layer of resin to the surface, which
coupled with the addition of UV inhibitors and stabilizers, extends the life of
the pole and gives it a smooth, glossy finish.
The
entire composite is bound together using a polyester resin, thus making the
Super Pole the very best on the market.
